‘Snuggled in the Forest’ is one of my limited edition Giclée Fine Art Reproduction Print.

‘Snuggled in the Forest’ was created to capture the peace and tranquility I feel when I immerse myself in the beautiful forest at Mary Cairnscross Scenic reserve. It is always a treat to see the little Pademelons nestled in the buttress roots, while the quick movements of the Yellow Throated Scrubwrens might alert you to their presence. Keep your eye out for the Southern angled-headed dragon, they have a unique habit of moving horizontally around the tree trunk to avoid observation.

The creative process started with a few visits to the reserve capturing images of the Pademelons and the Buttress roots. Sketches were roughed out to form the composition and then a detailed graphite drawing was created. This was scanned into the computer and digitally coloured using my Wacom tablet and pen. Each stroke still hand drawn.

This artwork has been printed on archival 100% Cotton, 308GSm Photo Rag Paper using UltraChrome HDX archival inks tested to 75 years colour fastness.
